Kadyrov estimates his stolen horse at 10 million US dollars

Ramzan Kadyrov’s stallion stolen in the Czech Republic costs not 18,000 US dollars, as reported by the country’s police, but 10 million US dollars, the leader of the republic announces.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 7, it became known that in the Czech Republic, the police are engaged into an investigation of the theft of stallion Zazu worth about 18,000 US dollars, stolen from a stable. The stolen horse is included in the list of property of Ramzan Kadyrov that fell under the sanctions.

In October 2014, organizers of the races in Germany froze the prize money for the victory of stallions Zazu and Fast Finish, owned by Ramzan Kadyrov, due to the fact that the leader of Chechnya was included in the EU sanctions list.

In his Telegram channel, Ramzan Kadyrov demanded “not to belittle the value” of the horse. “The media, according to the authorities, announced its value at 18,000 US dollars. I’m sure that this artificial underestimation is associated with the financial fraud of those responsible for its maintenance and care. However, purebred Zazu costs at least 10 million US dollars. Now, having learned its real value, someone will line his pockets,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote. “I’m worried that Zazu might fall into the wrong hands,” the leader of Chechnya added.

Let us remind you that according to the portal Jezdci.cz, Ramzan Kadyrov purchased Zazu in 2012 from the “WH Sport International” German Company so that the horse could participate in the Dubai World Cup, a prestigious horse race with the prize fund of 30.5 million US dollars in 2023.

Meanwhile, in 2020, Chechnya was among the leaders in terms of the Russian federal aid. Budget injections into Chechnya amounted to 106.4 billion roubles. However, Ramzan Kadyrov repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction with the financing of the republic led by him.
