Kadyrov awarded the title of Hero of Chechnya
Ramzan Kadyrov is now the Hero of Chechnya, Akhmed Dudaev, the head of the Chechen Ministry of Press, has announced. This title is awarded by the head of Chechnya, as follows from the decree signed by Kadyrov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 27, 2022, Kadyrov announced that he had been awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky by the presidential decree "for his great contribution to the socio-economic development of Chechnya."
Kadyrov has the titles of an honorary academician of the Chechen Academy of Sciences, an honorary professor of a number of Russian universities, an honorary citizen of Chechnya, and many other awards.
It follows from Kadyrov's decree of October 31, 2022, the title of Hero of Chechnya "is the highest title of Chechnya and is awarded for outstanding services rendered to the republic and its people associated with the accomplishment of a heroic deed."
Kadyrov has become the first Hero of Chechnya after the award was established, the TASS reports.
Also, various awards are regularly granted to Kadyrov's relatives and close associates. On September 20, 2022, it became known that the medal "100 years of the founding of the Chechen Republic" was awarded to Kadyrov's mother and three daughters.
