Kadyrov ignores reports about death in Ukraine of his representative’s son

Ramzan Kadyrov, six days after the funeral of a son of the representative of the leader of Chechnya in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, has not commented on his death in Ukraine.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on October 24, 2022, it became known that several dozen Chechen fighters were killed during a shelling attack in Ukraine. On October 27, Ramzan Kadyrov admitted that 23 Chechen fighters were killed and 58 others were wounded in the Kherson Region. Until October 27, the authorities of Chechnya officially recognized the deaths in Ukraine of only 29 residents of the republic.

Djambulat Zauraev, a son of Abubakar Zauraev, the representative of the leader of Chechnya in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, was 34 years old, and he went to Ukraine as a volunteer, reported Yakub Inarkaev, the chairman of the regional Chechen-Ingush autonomy “Vainakh”.

Earlier, the authorities of Chechnya reacted to reports about the death in Ukraine of Rustam Aguev, the head of the Kurchaloi Regional Police Department. So, on January 5, Akhmed Dudaev, Chechen Minister of Press, stated that Rustam Aguev, who participated in the special military operation in Ukraine, was alive and called the reports of his death a fake. Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed that Rustam Aguev and other Chechen commanders were “in perfect health.”
