Chechen authorities confirm incident with Kadyrov’s representative in Simferopol

When commenting on reports about Khasan Ibragimov’s involvement in the beating of a restaurant visitor by Chechen law enforcers, the authorities of Chechnya announced that Khasan Ibragimov, the representative of the leader of Chechnya, became a participant of a domestic conflict in Simferopol and that the information about his detention is not true.

“No one was detained. This is a domestic incident that was settled on the spot,” said Akhmed Dudaev, Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press, and Information of Chechnya, as quoted by the “Chechnya Segodnya” (Chechnya Today) news agency.

Earlier, the media reported that Khasan Ibragimov and four law enforcers from Chechnya were detained in Simferopol on suspicion of beating a young man who stood up for his girlfriend in a restaurant, the “Kommersant” reports.

According to the “Baza” Telegram channel, Khasan Ibragimov and four law enforcers arrived in Simferopol to buy a car and came to rest at a restaurant, where one of Khasan Ibragimov’s companions grabbed the buttocks of a restaurant visitor.

The young woman’s companion decided to stand up for her, but the law enforcers took him outside and beat him there. The police managed to stop the fight.

Ramzan Kadyrov appointed Khasan Ibragimov as his representative in the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, the “Gazeta.ru” reported.
