Chechen militia men were shifted to barracked state

The personnel of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs were shifted to the barracked state for three days. It was reported overnight by the Chechen Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Colonel Akhmed Dakayev.

According to his words, all details were reinforced; the number of posts and patrols was increased. It is connected with hearsays being spread in all settlements of the republic that illegal armed units may ostensibly become more active on August 6 (the 7-th anniversary of intrusion of Maskhadov?s separatists into Grozny in 1996).
