Relatives of contractors from Chechnya report about tricks of recruiters

A native of a Chechen village was repeatedly sent to Ukraine against his will, without signing his letter of resignation, and a man earlier convicted for involvement in the armed underground was offered by law enforcers to whitewash himself in their eyes by participating in the special military operation, relatives of contract soldiers say.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 14, Ramzan Kadyrov threatened with hell those who would allow the idea of refusing to go to Ukraine.

Rumisa, a resident of a village in the Shali District, said that her nephew Islam was sent to Ukraine for the second time and against his wishes. According to the woman, when her nephew was sent to Ukraine for the first time, she was not aware of his whereabouts for two days.

Chechen resident Akhmed was persuaded to sign a contract by a law enforcer, his relative Murad from Grozny says. According to Murad, Akhmed was found guilty of participating in an illegal armed formation (IAF) and sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment. The law enforcer persuaded Akhmed to sign the contract by recalling his criminal past.

Until recently, it was very difficult to get a job in the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya, but now this job has become unpopular among local residents due to the special military operation in Ukraine, an activist from Chechnya confirms.
