Authorities of Kalmykia appoint payment to volunteers sent to Ukraine

A sum of 30,000 roubles will be paid in Kalmykia to those, who have signed an agreement to serve in a volunteer detachment during the special military operation in Donbass and Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 25, Vyacheslav Badmaev, the head of the Iki-Burul District in Kalmykia, said that Captain Djangar Baitishov from Kalmykia had perished in Ukraine. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the deaths of at least six natives of Kalmykia have been officially confirmed.

In April, Batu Khasikov, the head of Kalmykia, on his Telegram channel, supported the detachment of volunteers from Kalmykia who are participating in the special operation in Ukraine. He asserted that experienced fighters are in the detachment of volunteers from Kalmykia.

On May 31, Mr Khasikov also announced the return of a detachment of "Rosgvardiya" (Russian National Guard) fighters from Ukraine.

Let us remind you that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is regularly reporting about sending Chechen volunteer detachments to Ukraine. On May 18, he announced that about 3000 Chechen fighters had been sent to Ukraine since the start of the special operation.
