Krasnodar resident fails in challenging the imposed fine for discrediting Russian Army

After his participation in an action against a special operation in Ukraine, a Krasnodar court has upheld the fine imposed on Denis Dolgushin, a resident of Krasnodar, for his alleged discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Southern Russia are periodically holding pacifist actions. Thus, on April 30, information appeared that the police had drawn up a protocol under an article about discrediting the Russian Armed Forces against an activist in the city of Kropotkin who went out into the street with a poster and then posted a video of his action online.

Denis Dolgushin refused to plead guilty, explaining that he had not discredited the Russian Army. The activist filed a complaint against the imposed fine, the "Kavkaz.Realii"** has written.

However, the court decided that the man "had called for obstructing the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens in order to maintain the international peace and security."
