In North Ossetia, policemen convicted in Tskaev’s case avoid public boycott
According to experts, the Ossetian tradition of expelling violators of the way of life from society is not used now and is not applicable to the policemen who escaped punishment for the death of Vladimir Tskaev.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 13, the Supreme Court (SC) of North Ossetia commuted the sentences of six policemen convicted in the case on Tskaev’s death. Four of them, including Atsamaz Datiev, Vladimir Valiev, Oleg Dzampaev, and Azamat Tsugkiev, were released from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, and two others – Soslan Sitokhov and Alan Bigaev – had their sentences reduced. Zemfira Tskaeva, a widow of the deceased man, decided to file an appeal against the decision of the court.
According to Zemfira Tskaeva, the “Supreme Council of Ossetians”, which has repeatedly publicly condemned local young people for their immoral, according to the “Supreme Council of Ossetians”, behaviour, did not condemn the murder of Vladimir Tskaev in any way.

According to Aneta Gadieva, a sociologist and co-chair of the “Mothers of Beslan” Committee, there are no clear moral norms regulating interpersonal relations in modern Ossetian society.
