Baku denies border violation in Nagorno-Karabakh

Azerbaijani militaries have occupied the village of Parukh in the Askeran District, the village head has informed. In its turn, Baku asserts that reports about the advance of Azerbaijani troops in Nagorno-Karabakh are false.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Thursday (March 24), the unrecognized republic claimed that Azerbaijani militaries had violated the contact line in the Askeran District of Nagorno-Karabakh; and women and children were evacuated from Parukh and Khramort communities.

Azerbaijani militaries have occupied the village of Parukh, Vardan Mikaelyan, the village head, has informed. Russian peacemakers are negotiating with Azerbaijani militaries in order to stop their further advance, he has added.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has refuted the information about the advance of its troops.

"Our posts are clarifying the positions and locations; no incidents have occurred," the MoD has stated and assured that there were no reasons for concern.
