Armenia's IC updates losses in battles for Nagorno-Karabakh

The death toll during the hostilities was 3822; other 208 people, including 21 civilians, are regarded as missing, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia has informed.

Let us remind you that on August 11, 2021, Artak Zeinalyan, an Armenian human rights defender, said that Azerbaijan insists that he keeps only 45 Armenian prisoners of war (POWs), while Armenia has submitted data on 280 Armenian POWs to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

Relatives of the dead and missing servicemen have repeatedly held protest actions in Yerevan, at which they stated that authorities were hiding the real number of POWs kept by Azerbaijan.
