Azerbaijan reports shootouts in conflict zone and on border

Last night, the positions of Azerbaijani militaries located in the Fizuli, Khodjavend, Agdam, Khodjaly and Kalbadjar Districts were shelled, after which return fire was opened, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 10, Azerbaijan stated that shelling of Azerbaijani militaries' positions stationed in the Agdam, Khodjavend and Fizuli directions continued throughout the day.

Last night, the positions of Azerbaijani militaries came under fire from the territories controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani MoD has stated.

The MoD has clarified that the Azerbaijani positions deployed in the Fizuli, Khodjavend, Agdam and Khodjaly Districts were shelled.

Azerbaijani militaries responded with return fire; there were no casualties or wounded persons among them, the Azerbaijani MoD has emphasized.
