Azerbaijani armed forces interfere with repair of gas pipeline to Nagorno-Karabakh

Azerbaijan prevents the start of repair of the gas pipeline from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh. Negotiations are underway with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, the government of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

On the night of March 8, an accident occurred at the section of the Shushi-Zariflu gas pipeline, and the gas supply to Nagorno-Karabakh was cut off.

The entire territory of Artsakh is deprived of gas supply as a result of the damage to the main gas pipeline from Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh Ombudsperson Gegam Stepanyan reports on Facebook.

Let us remind you that the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan regularly exchange accusations of shelling attacks. On March 7, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan announced that the Azerbaijani positions were shelled 23 times from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh over a day. Nagorno-Karabakh denied accusations of shelling attacks on the Azerbaijani positions.
