Stepanakert announces serviceman's wounding

Khachatur Khachatryan, a military serviceman, was wounded by shelling from the Azerbaijani side, the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported. Its counterpart, the Azeri MoD, has treated this information as a fake.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 15, the Azerbaijani MoD stated that units of the Armenian Armed Forces fired on the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the Kelbadjar and Tovuz Districts (the Armenian name of Kelbadjar is Karvachar, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). In its turn, the Armenian MoD called this information untrue.

As a result of shelling from the Azerbaijani side, a serviceman was wounded, the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD informed on February 15. "At about 4:15 p.m., in the eastern border section of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), opponent's servicemen violated the ceasefire regime, as a result of which the conscript, Khachatur Khachatryan, received a gunshot wound. His condition is assessed as stably grave," the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD has stated.

In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD called this information untrue.
