Kadyrov declares no claims against him in Ingush people

Before the end of the ultimatum, none of residents of Ingushetia has declared blood feud and turned to the elders, which shows that the people of Ingushetia have no claims, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated. He accused human rights defenders of aggravating the situation and threatened those who would "write nasty things" with consequences.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 11, Kadyrov threatened that if statements were not stopped that the Chechen authorities had illegally taken Ingush territories, "the remaining villages" would also go to Chechnya. He has treated those who accuse Chechnya of capturing Ingush territories as provocateurs and gave them three days to put their claims forward. Human rights defenders have suggested that after the expiration of the ultimatum, Kadyrov might take the toughest measures against residents of Ingushetia, who, in his opinion, made territorial claims against Chechnya.

After the expiry of the ultimatum, Kadyrov stated on the Instagram that "Ingush people have shown that they have no claims against Chechnya and personally against Kadyrov." He also called on Chechen officials to show respect for the people of Ingushetia.
