Video of capture of two Azerbaijani militaries posted on YouTube

Today, a video depicting capture of two Azerbaijani soldiers has been posted on YouTube. The soldiers were taken prisoner in the area of the Ishkhanasar village, reports Daniel Ionnisyan, a coordinator of the Union of Informed Citizens. The Ministries of Defence of Armenia and Azerbaijan did not comment on the information.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on November 16, armed clashes took place at the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to the official information of the parties to the conflict, seven Azerbaijani militaries were killed and ten others were wounded, while on the Armenian side, six soldiers were killed, other 13 were taken prisoner, and 24 were missing in action.

Today, a video with the capture of Azerbaijani soldiers has been posted on the “Politik.am” YouTube channel. Five armed men in camouflage uniforms surrounded two men also in camouflage uniforms. According to the video, the attackers tied the soldiers’ hands and forced them in the back of a truck. The video was posted without sound.

The information about the capture of Azerbaijani militaries was confirmed by Daniel Ionnisyan, a coordinator of the Union of Informed Citizens. He noted that the information about the capture of two Azerbaijani soldiers came to him “directly from sources on the line of contact.” “The information is accurate, despite no comments from the Ministry of Defence,” Daniel Ionnisyan said.
