A detainee committed suicide at the police department in the Belokalitvinsky District. He was in solitary confinement, the police of the Rostov Region reports today.

A district police inspector detained three residents of the village of Sinegorsky, who tried to break into a private house. One of the detainees, who behaved aggressively, was placed in a solitary confinement cell for administrative detainees. There he committed suicide, and the body was found by a policeman, the edition “161.ru” reports today.

The police called doctors and began to provide the man with first aid, but, despite that, the detainee died. The doctors who arrived at the place pronounced him dead. It is preliminary assumed that the detainee died because of suffocation. An agency check is being carried out to investigate the incident, the “Kommersant” reports today.
