Baku hands captured soldier over to Yerevan

A soldier who was captured during the hostilities on the border, as well as a civilian who got lost and ended up in the Agdam District, were handed over to Armenian authorities, their Azerbaijani counterparts have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 16, armed clashes broke out on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. On November 19, the Armenian party reported that six Armenian soldiers perished in the clashes; 13 soldiers were captured and 24 others were missing.

The Azerbaijani party has handed over to Armenia a civilian and a soldier who was captured during the clashes on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on November 16, the TASS has reported today with reference to the State Commission of Azerbaijan for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Citizens.

The handed over persons are Aren Aramyan, a soldier born in 1993, who was wounded during the clashes on November 16 in Syunik and then captured, and Mikhran Musaelyan, a resident of the village of Ashan in Nagorno-Karabakh, born in 2000, the APA News Agency has reported today.

Musaelyan was detained after he lost his way and entered the territory of Azerbaijan in the Agdam District (located in the territory of the Askeran, Mardakert and Martuni Districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). Investigators have established that he is a civilian, the "Haqqin.az" has reported today.
