Number of fined protesters against QR codes in Volgograd reaches three

A court fined Natalia Aparina 3000 roubles for taking part in a protest action against QR codes together with two other activists at the building of the “Rospotrebnadzor” (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision) Department in Volgograd.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on November 19, several activists entered the building of the “Rospotrebnadzor” for the Volgograd Region and requested employees to produce their QR codes and documents in order to show the groundlessness of such checks in public places. The police drew up protocols against the activists under articles on violation of mask and access regimes. On November 23, Svetlana Pechenova, one of the participants of the action, was fined 10,000 roubles. On November 24, the court sentenced another protestor Oksana Barabanova to four fines.

The court in the Volgograd Region fined Natalia Aparina, the third participant of the protest action at the building of the “Rospotrebnadzor” for the Volgograd Region, the amount of 3000 roubles, reported Ekaterina Valkovskaya, the head of the united press service for the courts of the Volgograd Region. According to her, at the court hearing, Natalia Aparina admitted her guilt in committing an administrative offense and repented of what she had done.
