Kadyrov's daughter appointed Culture Minister of Chechnya

At her 22, Aishat Kadyrova, the eldest daughter of the head of Chechnya, received the post of the republic's Minister of Culture.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 1, 2020, Ramzan Kadyrov announced the appointment of his eldest daughter Aishat to the post of First Deputy Minister of Culture of Chechnya. Instagram users reported that the appointment has exclusively to do with Aishat Kadyrova's family ties.

Aishat Kadyrova runs the "Firdaus" Fashion House. In March 2020, Kadyrov awarded his daughter the Medal of Merit to the Chechen Republic after the "Firdaus" Fashion House's collection of clothes was demonstrated in Paris. Some residents of Chechnya doubted the justification of the award.

The new post of the 22-year-old Aishat Kadyrova was announced on the Instagram by Magomed Daudov, the Speaker of the Chechen Parliament. He has treated Aishat as "a talented and creative leader", noting her "high professional results in the position of the first deputy minister of culture of Chechnya and the head of the 'Firdaus' Fashion House."

He has noted that "Aishat managed to make a colossal contribution to the development of Chechen libraries, houses of culture and theatres."

In Chechnya, almost the entire ruling system is looped personally on Kadyrov and his retinue. Recently, he has appointed several of his relatives to high positions in the government. Thus, in December 2020, another Kadyrov's daughter, Khadizhat, was appointed the head of the Grozny department of preschool education.
