Four persons wounded in shooting in Ingushetia

In the Nazran District, a villager opened fire from a rifle during a conflict with other local residents, after which four people were hospitalized, the press service of the regional Ministry Internal Affairs (MIA) has informed.

The shooting incident occurred near the village of Gazi-Yurt.

Several persons suffered, the "Ingushetia" newspaper has reported today with reference to the press service of the regional MIA. "Four persons were wounded; one man was detained by policemen," the "Interfax" has quoted its source from the MIA's press service today.

According to the preliminary version, in the village of Gazi-Yurt, neighbouring children quarrelled in the street. Later, adults intervened into the conflict. In order to settle it, they decided to meet in the field. One of them opened fire from a hunting rifle, after which several people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Doctors amputated a leg of one of them; and the villager who opened the fire was detained, the "Interfax" has quoted an informed source today.
