Remains of Armenian soldier found near Gadrut

In the Karabakh conflict zone, rescuers have found remains of another Armenian soldier. The total number of bodies and remnants found has reached 1655, the Nagorno-Karabakh Emergency Service has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by September 2, the number of bodies and remains of Armenian soldiers who died in the fall of 2020 found in the conflict zone had reached 1654.

On September 3, in the course of the searching works conducted in the Gadrut District, rescuers found the body of another Armenian military serviceman. "He will be identified after a forensic medical examination, which will be conducted in Armenia," the "News.Am" has reported today with reference to the State Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh.

During the entire searching operation underway in the territories that came under Azerbaijan's control, bodies and remains of a total of 1655 persons (both militaries and civilians) were found or transferred to the Armenian party, the "Sputnik Armenia" has reported today.
