KBR residents complain about water supply problems
The cities of Nalchik and Baksan, as well as villages of six districts of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), see systematic water supply outages, local residents complain.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that KBR residents had repeatedly complained about water supply problems. Thus, on June 27, residents of Nizhny Cherek claimed water shortage and blamed the village authorities for a failure to solve the problem within three years.
On July 20, the Instagram public page patriot_nalchik posted an entry about the problems with water supply in the village of Islamei.
Most of their commentators have confirmed that there are water supply problems in other dwelling settlements of the region. "Not only you, Atazhukino villagers have the same problem," the user shidova8 has written. "If only Islamei had this problem; in Nartan, we have no water since the beginning of summer," the user natbieva_alesiya has complained.
"For so many times I've called to the Chegem District Prosecutor's Office – no reaction! Leaving people without water at 38-degree heat is just a blasphemy," the user kushkhova3105 was indignant.
Other commentators claimed that water supply problems are faced by residents of Kyondelen, Shalushki, Kichmalki, Bansanenko, Urukh, Zalukokoazhe, Vtoroi Lesken, Stary Cherek, Nartan, Maisky, Zhankhoteko, Urvani, Lechinkai, Argudan, Kishpek and the village of Malka.
