After conflict with singer Getagazova, Merzhoev explains his behaviour

Elez Merzhoev, a resident of Ingushetia, explained his conflict with singer Aina Getagazova in a café in Nazran by a sudden outbreak of aggression and a loss of self-control. The man has emphasized he admits he was wrong.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the court sentenced Elez Merzhoev to five days of arrest in a case on petty hooliganism after he hit singer Aina Getagazova on her head during a conflict in a café in Nazran which occurred on June 15.

Elez Merzhoev, a resident of Ingushetia, explained that he was not able to explain his conflict with Aina Getagazova earlier because of his arrest. “I would like to say something about the situation with our singer, of which I did not intentionally become a participant. I would like those who are interested in the case to know that the situation brought out the worst in me ... In that case, yes, I am to blame,” the man has written on his Instagram page today.

According to Elez Merzhoev, the reaction of the singer was unexpected for him. “I did not expect that she would react so violently, she might not be in the good mood on that day. But on my part it was pure irony. And when I pushed her with my head, my behaviour could be caused by the sharp aggression, because of the words spoken to me. I lost control over myself, although I had no right for such behaviour,” Elez Merzhoev said.
