Azerbaijani GPO declares search of three businessmen-Armenian natives

Three Russian businessmen of Armenian origin have been accused of illegal supply of weapons for conducting hostilities against Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has announced.

According to the GPO, in 2001-2020, Samvel Karapetyan, the head of the "Tashir" Group of Companies; David Galustyan, the owner of "Royalsys Engineering"; and Ara Abramyan, the Director General of the KOMEX Company (also the head of the Union of Russian Armenians, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), used passenger and cargo planes to deliver weapons to Armenia, and from there – to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The figurants of this criminal case face up to 15 years in prison.
