Week from May 31 to June 6, 2021, passed without victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week from May 31 to June 6, 2021, in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, no information about any casualties or wounded persons was reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

On May 31, the Southern District Military Court sentenced four residents of the Agul District of Dagestan to prison terms from 10 to 18 years after finding them to be members of a terrorist community and an illegal armed formation (IAF). One of the defendants, Ali Aliev, was acquitted.

The court sentenced Rakhmatuly Magomedov to 18 years in a high security colony with a further liberty restraint for two years and a fine of 230,000 roubles. Gadad Ramazanov was sentenced to 16 years in a high security colony with a further liberty restraint for one year and a half and a fine of 220,000 roubles. Ramazan Kurbanov received 12 years in a high security colony with a further liberty restraint for one year and a half and a fine of 200,000 roubles. Ramazan Tagriverdiev was sentenced to 10 years in a high security colony with a further liberty restraint for one year and a half and a fine of 210,000 roubles.

Every month, quarter, and every year, the “Caucasian Knot” posts statistics with regard to victims of the armed conflict in the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) in Section “Northern Caucasus: Statistics of Victims”.
