In Ingushetia, participants of gathering demand to protect “Antilyrica” activists
After a shooting attack in Malgobek, residents of the village of Sagopshi claimed the need to ensure the safety of the “Antilyrica” movement activists and stop the spread of drugs in the region. About 30 relatives stayed in a hospital overnight with their wounded family members.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on the evening of June 1, in Malgobek, two activists of the “Antilyrica" public movement were wounded from a traumatic weapon. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, the victims were hospitalized, and a gunman, a resident of the village of Sagopshi, was detained. Magomed Gatagazhev, the leader of the “Antilyrica”, and his cousin were shelled by drug dealers, relatives of the wounded said.
The House of Culture of the rural settlement of Sagopshi in the Malgobek District hosted a gathering of citizens held on the occasion of the shooting attack on the “Antilyrica” activists. According to one of the participants of the gathering, the people were discussing the problems of how to protect activists of the public movement and to resist the spread of drugs, the online newspaper “Ingushetia” reports today.
The “Antilyrica” youth public movement against the spread of drugs operates with the support of the Mayor of Nazran and cooperates with the law enforcement bodies. Earlier, the activists of the “Antilyrica” movement have been involved in incidents with firearms.
