Two persons injured in accident with Pashinyan's motorcade

A woman is in grave condition after a road accident with an escort car from the motorcade of the head of the Armenian Government (Prime Minister), Nikol Pashinyan. A man, the second victim refused hospitalization, a source from a Yerevan hospital said.

The road accident involving a car accompanying the motorcade of the acting Armenian Premier, Nikol Pashinyan, occurred on May 10 in the afternoon in central Yerevan.

The Mercedes and Nissan cars collided at the intersection of Vazgen Sargsyan and Khorenatsi Streets, not far from the building of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The Nissan was accompanying Pashinyan's motorcade, the "NEWS.am" writes with reference to the police press service.

Two victims were taken from the venue at the MFA building to University Hospital No. 2, Shushan Danielyan, the spokesperson of the Yerevan State Medical University, said on her Facebook. Later, she added information about the victims' condition.

According to Ms Danielyan, the man received a slight hip injury and refused hospitalization, but the woman is in a stable grave serious condition.
