Magomed Khazbiev reports about blood feud declared by Chechen leaders

Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, and Adam Delimkhanov, a member of the State Duma, declared a blood feud after a video criticizing the Chechen authorities for their harsh reaction to the terror act in Grozny, Ingush activist Magomed Khazbiev reports today.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 25, 2019, Magomed Khazbiev left a penal colony in Kabardino-Balkaria, where he was serving his sentence on the charge of illegal possession of weapons and insulting Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the then leader of Ingushetia. In November 2019, Magomed Khazbiev was detained after a call to gather in Magas to protest against the prosecution of the Ingush protest leaders.

“The leaders of Chechnya have declared a blood feud against Magomed Khazbiev,” reports Magomed Khazbiev’s personal Instagram page.

According to Magomed Khazbiev, he was contacted by Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament. The threats were caused by the Magomed Khazbiev’s recent video message to the leaders of Chechnya, in which the activist criticized those who, in his opinion, offended the Ingush people.

Two years ago, on March 9, 2019, Magomed Daudov, the speaker of the Chechen parliament, declared Tumso Abdurakhmanov his blood enemy because of the blogger’s words about Akhmat Kadyrov.
