Tumso reports on attempt of Chechen native to avoid deportation from France

Magomed Gadaev, a 37-year-old refugee from Chechnya, injured his stomach in order to disrupt his deportation from France to Russia scheduled for today, blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov reported.

Magomed Gadaev inflicted wounds on himself in the abdomen area in protest against the decision of the French authorities to deport him to Russia, blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov reported on his Abu Saddam Shihani Telegram channel.

The French authorities made a decision to deport Magomed Gadaev to Russia despite statements by his lawyer who claimed his client might be subjected to torture in his homeland, the “Kavkaz.Realii”* reports.

On April 8, Magomed Gadaev was detained and placed in a deportation prison after he had failed to come to a police station for check.

Let us remind you that the problem of the deportation of Chechen natives from France became aggravated after teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded in the suburbs of Paris on October 16, 2020.
