In December 2020, fourteen people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In December 2020, during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, 7 people perished and 7 others were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

The death toll included one law enforcer and six alleged members of the armed underground; all the wounded persons were law enforcers.

The above statistics given cannot present the count of victims with 100% accuracy. Not all the data is included into summaries. It is not always possible to check the statements of law enforcement agencies; and new data on the events of the reporting period becomes known sometimes after the publication of statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

In Chechnya, during a special operation and attacks on law enforcers, six people perished and one was wounded. The death toll includes one law enforcer and five alleged members of the armed underground; one law enforcer was wounded.

In Karachay-Cherkessia, a self-detonation killed one person; according to law enforcers, he had links with the armed underground; and six law enforcers were wounded.

In Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia-Alania and the Stavropol Territory, no victims of the conflict were recorded in December 2020.
