In Nazran, three persons detained in case on aiding and abetting terrorists

Kureish Djandigov, Islam Zhandigov, and Adam Khashiev are charged with transporting weapons and providing housing and food to members of the "Imarat Kavkaz"*, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports. Relatives of Kureish Djandigov were also detained in Nazran, eyewitnesses said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 30, residents of Nazran reported that law enforcers in armoured vehicles cordoned off the territory in Nazran.

In Ingushetia, Kureish Djandigov, Islam Zhandigov, and Adam Khashiev are detained in a case on the terrorist community "Imarat Kavkaz"*, reports Svetlana Petrenko, the ICRF's spokesperson. All three detainees have already been charged under criminal articles for participation in the activities of an illegal armed formation (IAF) and a terrorist organization.

All three men were detained as a result of a special operation conducted in Ingushetia, the "Interfax" reports today with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.

According to Kazbek Barkinkhoev, a tenant of a house in Nasyrkortskaya Street in Nazran, not only Kureish Djandigov, Islam Zhandigov, and Adam Khashiev, but also cousins of Kureish Djandigov were detained. "It seems to me they were released then," Kazbek Barkinkhoev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

* "Imarat Kavkaz" is a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court
