Eyewitnesses report special operation in Nazran

In the evening on Saturday (January 30), law enforcers in armoured vehicles cordoned off a territory in Nazran, where the mobile Internet was turned off, local residents have reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the special operation was conducted next to the children's boarding school. "The mobile Internet was blocked; there were many law enforcers with armoured vehicles. But I did not hear any shooting," Alikhan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 16, 2020, a shootout broke out in Nazran, after which a car exploded. Law enforcers reported that a grouping of militants was blocked in the city; one man was killed.
