Over the past 24 hours, more than 180 refugees return to Stepanakert

Busses have brought 188 more refugees from Yerevan to Stepanakert; making the total number of returnees 47,475, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) informed on January 4.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 3, about 100 refugees were transported from Yerevan to Stepanakert.

Russian peacemakers have escorted another convoy of buses with refugees; 188 people were brought from Yerevan to Stepanakert, the press service of the Russian MoD has reported.

"In total, 47,475 refugees have already returned to their permanent residences in Nagorno-Karabakh. Servicemen of the Russian peacemaking contingent ensure the safe return of citizens to their permanent residences; they provide humanitarian aid and restore the civilian infrastructure," says the message posted in the evening on January 4 on the MoD's website.
