Russia's MfE reports delivery of humanitarian aid to Nagorno-Karabakh

Another consignment of humanitarian aid has been delivered by rescuers from Russia to Nagorno-Karabakh. In particular, it contains about 5000 square meters of glass and almost 70 tons of metal profiles.

The above building materials have arrived in Martuni (the Azerbaijani name is Khodjavend, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Martakert (the Azerbaijani name is Agdere, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), where they were distributed among residents to restore buildings and structures damaged as a result of shelling, the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has reported today on its website.

In total, within the framework of the humanitarian mission, 20 mobile power plants, six UAZ vehicles, eight tank trucks and one truck crane were handed over to residents of Nagorno-Karabakh; as well as over 22,000 square meters of glass, about a thousand cubic meters of lumber, chipboard and plywood, and 13,000 square meters of corrugated board, the MfE has noted.

From among basic necessities, rescuers have brought to Nagorno-Karabakh over 34,600 blankets; 1800 mattresses; 1900 pillows; 3200 sets of bed linen; 940 sets of furniture; 4000 beds and 500 stoves, says the press release of the Russia's MfE.
