Three activists detained at support action of resident of South Ossetia who died after tortures
Three protesters, who spent the night in Tskhinvali, have been detained, said Inal Djabiev's widow. Together with Djabiev's relatives, David Sanakoev, a South-Ossetian MP, is taking part in the action.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 4, Oksana Sotieva, Inal Djabiev's widow, held a picket in Tskhinvali, and then went to an action with two dozen relatives. They criticized the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) for the absence of results of the inquiry into Inal's death.
The number of protesters has grown to 60, said Merab Pukhaev, the Acting Interior Minister of South Ossetia, as quoted by the TASS.
The MP, David Sanakoev, has publicly expressed his admiration for "the courage of Inal's mother and widow." He called on law enforcers not to use force, and local residents to support Djabiev's relatives.
