Two oppositionists go on hunger strike demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation

Politician Gegam Manukyan and his fellow party member Garik Avetisyan have begun an indefinite hunger strike in front of the Armenian government building. The oppositionists call the "sole" signing of the ceasefire agreement as the reason for demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the agreement between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on the cessation of the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh entered into force on November 10. After that, 17 opposition forces created the Rescue Committee. They are seeking the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenian.

Today, Gegam Manukyan, a member of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun", the director of the information-analytical service of the "Yerkir Media" TV Channel, has started an indefinite hunger strike in front of the building of the Armenian government. The protestor demands the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Gegam Manukyan has joined his fellow party member Garik Avetisyan, who has also declared a hunger strike earlier today. In front of the Armenian government building, Garik Avetisyan holds his hunger strike with the demand of the Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, the "News.Am" reports today.

The possibilities of political struggle have been exhausted, Gegam Manukyan says. "There were numerous attempts of political struggle. The clear demands have been voiced. The Prime Minister failed to consult anyone and secretly signed the capitulation on his own," the "Aysor" quotes Gegam Manukyan as claiming.
