Peacekeepers cover exit of Azerbaijani motor convoy from Shusha

The Russian peacekeepers ensured the safety of a motor convoy with the Azerbaijani military personnel, which left Shusha for the Fizuli District. The construction of the Shusha-Fizuli road through the territories controlled by Baku has just begun.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 13, the Russian peacekeepers entered the Karvachar District, which is being transferred under the control of Azerbaijan, and advanced to the Dadivank Monastery of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The peacekeepers also started escorting buses with residents of Nagorno-Karabakh returning from Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has drafted a map to show the territories that will pass over to Azerbaijan after the autumn war. Also, the "Caucasian Knot" has published a deployment map of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Communication between the city of Shusha and other Azerbaijani territories has not yet been established. President Ilham Aliev explained that the road, built in the Soviet era, led to Shusha through Khankendi (the Azerbaijani name for Stepanakert, – note of the "Caucasian Knot").). "At present, it is impossible to use the road," the President of Azerbaijan said. According to him, the new road "will be very comfortable and wide" and will allow "comfortable travels to Shusha with security measures."
