Investigation into deaths of Armenian soldiers highlights fierce fighting at Djebrail
The statement of the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) about arrests during the inquiry into violations of the conditions of military service in Nagorno-Karabakh was made a month after the release of the video of the battles near Djebrail (Djrakan).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vitaly Voskanyan, Chairman of the Armenian MoD's Committee on Missing and Captured Servicemen, informed about the investigation into the unjustified deaths of Armenian militaries in Karabakh.
According to his story, enough proofs have already been collected, the "Sputnik Armenia" reports.
Let us note here that on October 4, Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliev announced the return of his country's control over the city of Djebrail (Djrakan) and several villages of the district. Shushan Stepanyan, the press secretary of the Armenian MoD, has treated the above Aliev's statement as "another lie." At the same time, the Armenian party has claimed that Azerbaijani units failed to reach Djebrail and were forced to retreat under the fire of Armenian forces.
