After Yerevan rally, policemen detain activists
About ten people were detained after the end of the opposition rally demanding the resignation of the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported from the venue.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that about 2000 people took part in the oppositional rally on November 12.
The Armenian opposition is dissatisfied with the signed peace agreement with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan regains the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh captured during the hostilities and gets the so-called "Security Belt", that is, returns the territories of five districts adjacent to Karabakh.
After the end of the rally, several dozen people remained in Freedom Square. The police warned them about the ban on assemblies during the martial law and gave three minutes for the remaining oppositionists to disperse. This time expired, law enforcers began detaining the remaining protesters, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Besides, there was an incident with Pashinyan's supporters, which also ended in detentions. In total, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent counted at least 10 detainees.
