The total number of victims of the night missile attack on Ganja has reached 65, including 13 casualties and 52 wounded ones, the Azerbaijani MfE has reported. Two small children were among the casualties, the MfE has added.

After the shelling, the Azerbaijan General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has instructed investigators to initiate criminal cases under the articles of an aggressive war, premeditated murders, attempted murders and damage to property, the MfE says in its message sent to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The strikes on Ganja were committed by two missiles, Elman Babaev, a local resident, has explained. Both areas, where the missiles exploded, consist of private storey residential houses. "The most devastating blow was on the residential block in Mukhtar Gadjiev Street, which people name as the 'sports school' area. Here, 12 people were killed, and more than 50 others were wounded. About 10 houses were completely ruined," Mr Babaev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
