Azerbaijani MoD reports on night battles

In the course of the night battles on the frontline, Azerbaijani militaries opened fire on a convoy of vehicles of a motorized rifle regiment and a group of volunteers; the enemy suffered losses in manpower and equipment, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the fighting in the conflict zone began on September 27, and at midday on October 10, a ceasefire agreement in the conflict zone entered into force. However, the parties continued accusing each other of violating the ceasefire.

At night on October 13, the situation on the frontline in the Agdere-Agdam and Fizuli-Gadrut directions remained tense, the Azerbaijani MoD has added.

According to the MoD, fire was opened on a motor convoy of the Fourth Motorized Rifle Regiment, which was moving in the Askeran direction, and a group of volunteers, which was walking from the settlement of Sisian in Armenia in the direction of the "Azerbaijan occupied territories." The enemy suffered losses in manpower, said the message of the Azerbaijani MoD, received by the "Caucasian Knot".

The MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not comment on this message in their websites.
