Social network users outraged by shooting at wedding in Chechnya

The video clip with a man shooting from a submachine gun at a wedding party posted on the Instagram has angered the users.

The clip, in which a man dancing Lezginka opens fire from a submachine gun while in the middle of a crowd of people, was posted on September 28 on Instagram by the "ChP Chechnya" public.

In the clip that lasts for about 30 seconds, a young man with a beard dancing with a girl to a song in the Chechen language, during the dance takes a submachine gun from one of the spectators, fires it over the heads of those standing around, then returns the weapon and continues dancing. Some users reacted negatively to the incident.

"They said that you can't shoot (at a wedding). Now we'll find out how true it is," the user akulla.way has written. "This is how they killed our guy here," the user kadiev_ali_misarbi has noted.

In this regard, it should be noted that since 2012, Chechnya introduced a strict ban on the custom of shooting during weddings. Several years ago, for violating this ban, two employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) were fired because they opened fire into the air from their service pistols at the weddings of their acquaintances.
