Number of Karabakh soldiers killed in hostilities rises to 59

Today, 28 soldiers of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army have been killed, and in total, 59 Karabakh soldiers were killed since the beginning of the conflict escalation, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 27, hostilities broke out in the Karabakh conflict zone. The Azerbaijani side continues shelling attacks on villages and cities, including Hadrut and Martuni, the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh report. In turn, today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reported about a shelling attack on the city of Terter from the territories controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Nagorno-Karabakh MoD has posted on its website a list of 28 soldiers killed in the Karabakh conflict zone today. Most of them were born in 2000-2002. Only two fighters were born in the 1970s and 1980s: the oldest of them was born in 1972.

Earlier, the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reported about 31 killed soldiers. Thus, in total, 59 soldiers of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army have been killed since September 27.

By this morning, according to the Ministries of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, about 200 soldiers have been wounded. There are also casualties among civilians: a woman and her minor granddaughter were killed, and about 30 other civilians were wounded.
