456 people leave border camp near Kullar

In Dagestan, about 500 people still stay in a camp near the village of Kullar after another group of Azerbaijani citizens has been sent home. The weather still allows people staying at the camp, says Afig Allakhverdiev, the deputy chairman of the regional National Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in the Moscow Region.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a temporary accommodation centre (TAC) has been opened on the border of Dagestan for Azerbaijani citizens who could not get home.

Today, 456 people have left the camp near the village of Kullar, Afig Allakhverdiev reports. According to him, people still continue to arrive at the camp, and the number of those wishing to leave for Azerbaijan can increase greatly over a week.

Said, a resident of the Kullar village, says people arrive at the camp every day. According to the villager, the people staying at the camp do not cause any inconvenience to local residents, and no conflicts arise.

The people who stay at the camp near the Kullar village complain about the long wait for their turn to be sent home and the uncertainty concerning the solution of the problem.
