Krivobokov, Yury Alexandrovich

Deputy of the People's Assembly of Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic of the second convocation from Cherkessk constituency No. 14.

Member of the People's Assembly Committee for National Policy, International and Regional Relations, Public Unions and Religious Organizations Affairs, and Mass Media.

Born December 13, 1952, in the city of Cherkessk. College degree. In 1975, graduated from Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute. Master of Technical Sciences (kandidat tekhnicheskikh nauk), professor.

Started employment activities in 1975 as the assistant of Electrochemistry Department, Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute, then worked as the Department's aspirant and senior scientific associate of these Institute until August 1981. From 1981 till 1989, was a docent and dean of Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute. From 1989 till 1996, was pro-rector of Angara Technologic Institute. From September 1996, was the pro-rector of Karachayevo-Cherkessian State Technologic Institute and a College Director. Since March 2001, was acting rector, and since November 2001, was the rector of Karachayevo-Cherkessian State Technologic Institute.
