Social network users condemn Armenians vs. Azerbaijanis conflict in London

In London, there was a scuffle of natives of Azerbaijan with those of Armenia, who held actions in connection with the hostilities in Southern Caucasus. The video commentators called on the participants in the scuffle to peace and condemned them for showdown in a foreign country.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border aggravated on July 12. As of July 16, the total number of victims reached 43. According to the conflicting parties, shelling attacks continued on July 17.

According to Armenia, the situation escalated after an Azerbaijan's attempt to break through the border. In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD claims that the conflict escalated after the Armenian militaries tried to launch an attack.

The 150 Azerbaijanis who came out to the above action in London chanted: "Give up Azerbaijani lands!" and "Armenia, get out of Karabakh!", while condemning the actions of the Armenian militaries on the border, the Azerbaijani Embassy has reported.

The scuffle was provoked by Azerbaijani activists, Sipan Petrosyan, an eyewitness, asserts. According to his version, Armenians, having learned about the Azerbaijanis' action, decided to stage a counter-demonstration, the "Hetq" writes.

During the scuffle, one person suffered, the BBC writes.

There are many appeals for peace among comments.

"If you stood next to each other, it would be smart and an example to your leadership. It's time to show solidarity of the two nations in favour of peace," the user Magomed Kavkaz has noted.
