Instagram users: mother of deceased woman from Gudermes forced to apologize

In the course of the investigation into the circumstances of the resonant death of a woman from Gudermes, Ramzan Kadyrov openly sided with her husband, Instagram users note. They suggest that the apologies voiced by the mother of the deceased woman were not voluntary.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Chechen Prosecutor initiated an inquiry into reports about the murder by a Gudermes resident of his wife. On June 20, the body of the young woman was exhumed by investigators. On June 23, at a meeting at the Gudermes City Mayoralty with the participation of the leader of Chechnya, Ruslan Alkhanov, Chechen Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA), claimed no signs of violent death had been detected on the exhumed body. The mother of the young woman apologized for her statement about the violent death of her daughter.

The deceased woman tried to leave her husband because of beatings, relatives of the deceased assert. Earlier, the woman's mother said that they were trying to fence off her daughter's husband, since he is a military serviceman.

Some Instagram users expressed their indignation over the meeting of Ramzan Kadyrov with relatives of the deceased woman from Gudermes. "It's terrible. We face the bad time. Now they can call white things black and vice versa. And anyone who dares to say something opposite should apologize," wrote user rayatort_kaspiysk in a comment under a post on the "Grozny" TV Channel's page.

The meeting with participation of Ramzan Kadyrov replaces the investigation, notes user lady_in_black16_95. "They held idle talks like at a bazaar. Where is the conclusion of a forensic medical examination (preferably independent one, held outside the Chechen Republic)?" the user wrote.

Some residents noted the negative attitude of Ramzan Kadyrov towards the mother of the deceased woman, which, according to them, was clearly seen at the meeting on June 23. "Ramzan Kadyrov did not hide his indignation over the fact that they had to conduct an examination. He emphasized that it was prohibited by Islam. His sympathies were clearly not on the side of that unfortunate mother and her relatives, who were openly humiliated," local resident Roza told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
