Chechen residents express dissatisfaction with distribution of food by Kadyrov Foundation

The Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation is conducting a charity action to distribute 350,000 food aid packages to the people in need. Local residents claim the food aid is being distributed unfairly.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 6, the authorities reported that the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation had distributed meat of five sacrificial animals to the families of the people in need and those affected by the storm. Instagram users said they did not receive help.

On the air of the "Grozny" TV Company, local residents thanked the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation for the food aid packages. However, the post with the above TV report on the Instagram account of the "Grozny TV" has also gained negative comments.

"All neighbours already got rice, except me. They provide assistance to all the same people and to those who do not need any help. And they don't help those in need," noted user o.frolo.

Local residents also pointed to injustice in the distribution of the food aid. "I've been on the lists of the people in need for more than a year. During these three months, I received help only once: two loaves of bread and a chicken," Rumisa stated.

"According to our TV Channel, the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation has already distributed more than a million food aid packages in our republic, or even two million. I don't know who gets help and how, but I haven't got anything, although I'm the same citizen of the republic as others. I'm a disabled person with a large family of seven people," complained Khamad.
