Dagestani fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov tells about his father's grave condition

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father and coach of the Dagestani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia; he has undergone a heart surgery and remains in very grave health condition.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, 57, was hospitalized with suspected pneumonia. According to the "Baza" Telegram channel, the coach fell into a coma.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has reported in his video message on the Instagram that a "virus" was detected in his father.

"My father is in hospital now; his condition is very serious. He has a heart complication amid this virus ... since he had a surgery a year ago. So he is in grave condition, very grave," the athlete said.

He urged Dagestanis to listen to the doctors and observe the self-isolation regime. According to his story, more than 20 of his relatives were taken to intensive care in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic.
